I love books. I love, in particular, books that are still printed on paper. I love tucking one in my purse, being able to curl up with one in my lap, so on and so forth. I love the feel of paper under my fingertips as I read. E-books? Sound convenient, but I looooove paper.

But this thing? Is incredibly cool. I could get behind this sort of thing. I like that it’s thin and light and durable, because… well, I keep a lot of crap in my purse or my tote. I’d hate for an e-book reader to have an unfortunate run-in with one of my many pens or lip gloss containers. (Yes, yes, I know. Covers. Just go along with me here.)

I am, however, a thrifty fangirl. Until one of these babies goes for cheap, I’ll stick with my precious paper books.

I looooooooove ebooks. I also love paper books (probably too much, because my bookshelves are exploding) but the convenience of ebooks can’t be denied. I’ve been a long-time PDA user, am now an iPhone user, and ever since I got my first PDA and started reading ebooks on it, I’ve been a huge fan. Having the books always at my fingertips is a big plus…it’s come in handy many a time when I’ve been stuck places or got bored somewhere. Paper books will always be the optimal experience, but I <3 ebooks too. Plus, the iPhone ebook reader I use is great!

I get the feeling that when I get an iPhone (hopefully soon!), I’m going to get sucked into e-books. It’ll be too easy to get them! The good thing, though, is that e-books don’t stack up on the floor when I run out of bookshelf space, haha. Exploding doesn’t even begin to cover the state of my office. There are books everywhere.
