I’m going to be camping in New Mexico until July 11th! We will theoretically have wifi at the campsite, but I’m not hedging any bets on it, so I might be incommunicado until we get back home. If the wifi does work, I’ll see about posting some book reviews I’ve had in the pipeline for a couple of weeks.
See, I live in north Texas. I was born here, but I am absolutely not built for north Texas summers. It’s been over 100 for days, and I hate it. I swear, I think I get reverse SAD (along with regular SAD, too; I hate the dead of winter as much as I hate the dead of summer), and all this heat and sunshine sucks the life out of me. Or I might be a vampire. Whichever it is, I’ve just been moping around lately and haven’t written anything that I should. Mea culpa, readers! Hopefully the refreshing mountain air (and after that, the beauty of Oregon and San Diego, where I’ll be from July 13 through August 4) will renew my vigor and all that stuff. :)
