Oh GOSH. That’s such a difficult thing to choose! I really enjoyed (while relistening last week) Harry’s first Christmas at Hogwarts. Who couldn’t imagine this boy who never got anything and always saw his cousin getting all these fantastic gifts opening his eyes on Christmas morning to presents. His first presents ever. It’s lovely and I got all teary eyed. It’s probably not my favorite moment ever from the series, but something recently rediscovered. I love these books so much.

I am subscribed. I have retweeted http://twitter.com/marvolosriddle/status/12069638140 and I have followed the blog on Twitter. :)

    - My favorite HP moment: Has to be when Harry realizes Sirius is family and that he is not alone. Sappy, I know!

Awesome contest! I have subscribed to the Twitter feed, retweeted, and subscribed to the feed. And, now for the tough part: I think my favorite bit from the books is either Neville Longbottom in the seventh book, tired of that MF-ing snake, or perhaps the Quidditch World Cup, when we start to really see how vast the wizarding world really is.

Hmm, my favorite moment in the books… probably when Hagrid crashes through the door on the island they’re hiding away on and tells Harry he’s a wizard. It’s just funny and cute. :) Also re-tweeted and subscribed, but I have no idea how to link to my tweet. :-/

My favorite moment {aside from reading every single word of every single book to my youngest} is when Harry looks into the Mirror of Erised and sees his mom for the first time. Eeee, just typing it now brings a tear to my eye.

My favorite Harry Potter moment is the first trip up to the castle. All the trips were great. But nothing compared to the first boat ride.

I must admit, It’s been awhile since I’ve read these books, and I stopped at number four, but I think my favorite scene was probably Harry’s first trip to Diagon Alley.

My favorite moment? Gah, there are quite a few great moments through the series, but I think that the beginning of the first book is what I’ll always remember first–Dumbledore, McGonagall, Hagrid, flying motorbikes and magic, sucking the reader effortlessly into Rowling’s world.

My fave Harry Potter moment is from the Prisoner of Azkaban. The entire scene in the Shrieking Shack when we find out that Sirius is a good guy and Peter Pettigrew is still alive. And when Sirius tells Harry that he might be able to go live with him. Sirius is my fave character <3

    Here's my tweet: twitter

I also linked on Facebook but my Facebook is mostly private so it wouldn’t show up if I linked it.

So many favorite moments! But one that comes to mind is the first train ride to Hogwarts, when Harry buys the entire contents of the snack cart to share with Ron after seeing the icky sandwich Ron brought with him. The beginning of a great friendship.

My favorite Harry Potter moment is when Harry comes in to the common room after the quidditch match in book 6 and sees Ginny. I love these books and would really like to win a set for my son. :)
