Don’t forget comfy shoes and/or your pain reliever of choice! If you don’t have one, you’re gonna need the other! And chances are you’re gonna need some pain reliever at some point anyway. :P

And Joe Quesada gave me some good advice for my first SDCC: stay hydrated and PACE YOURSELF. Always good to remember. :)

Thanks, Chantaal! Mark Sheppard was super nice, despite the look on his face in that photo. I think that’s his signature photo look, because when he didn’t have a camera pointed at him, he was very friendly and funny. :D

Great list! Luckily I was given the same advice last year (which was my first trip to SDCC) so I wasn’t caught completely off guard.

I’m extremely jealous of you having met Mark Sheppard, though! The closest I got to him was at the fantastic Middleman episode read last year.

Solid list – my only suggestion would be to add a small carry-on bit of deodorant. ‘Cause, hey, it gets stuffy in there, man.
