Reading: The Two Faces of January – Patricia Highsmith. Part of my reading challenge, I’ve seen the movie already (because Oscar Isaac) and realized after the fact that it was a Highsmith book. This explained the Talented Mr. Ripley-ish vibe. Just finished Sara Blædel’s Call Me Princess.
Listening to: Not very much since my iPod seems to have crapped out on me. *weeps*
Watching: On the last two seasons of Prime Suspect. Not sure what I’ll move onto next, and most of my shows are on hiatus now.
Working on: In the process of getting the very first Geek Girl Brunch Cincinnati event going. We’ve got a few members, we just need to settle on a place and a date. Plugging away at my reading challenges, you can see my progress on my Goodreads page or my Pinboard.

Reading: I haven’t read anything in the last two weeks. Had a cat emergency and since then I haven’t felt like reading much.
Listening to: The Dragon Age – Inquisition soundtrack, but more specifically the songs from Trespasser: Dark Solas and Lost Elf, and the extended version The Dread Wolf (which is not on the official soundtrack.) They’re such bittersweet, heartbreaking, gut-wrenching songs that are so perfect, especially if you’ve romanced Solas.
Watching: Ever since Pamela mentioned it last time, I’ve been addicted to Murdoch Mysteries. It’s formulaic, predictable, and a little cheesy, but I love how they invent things or comment on inventions that will eventually be everyday things in our current time.
Working on: Exercising and building an after work routine so that I’m not just being lazy and playing video games the whole time before I go to bed. It’s not going smoothly or easily…
Pamela
Reading: I’m finishing up City of Mirrors by Justin Cronin, and I think my next read will be Island on Fire by Alexandra Witze and Jeff Kanipe. I feel like some volcano nonfiction is just what I need.
Listening to: A lot of 90s alternative. I blame Radiohead’s new album for sending me on a nostalgia spiral.
Watching: Mr Fangirl play through Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End on our PS4. Aside from already being madly in love with Nate Drake and Elena Fisher and Victor Goddamn Sullivan, this game is the most gorgeous so far. The environments are outstanding.
Working on: My burgeoning personal planner addiction. And also growing a baby. I’m at the halfway point, which doesn’t seem real, but my jeans don’t fit anymore so obviously something is growing in there. I was kind of hoping for a velociraptor, but it definitely looks like a baby on the sonogram.
