Busy! + Linnea Sinclair giveaway!
I am so sorry for the lack of updates around here, everyone. To say I’ve been busy is… well, understating the issue by quite a bit. I’ve been proverbially running around like the proverbial chicken with its proverbial head cut off.
As I’ve mentioned before, I’m the editor for my department’s literary journal, and it’s crunch time. The issue is at the printer, minus a couple of corrections, but now I’ve got to get the web issue in order and email everyone who submitted something to let them know if they’re in or out. I should have done this a couple of weeks ago, but health issues and my other workload caused some delays. And on top of that, I have to read an article and write a response for my Monday class, write a paper and read a book for my class on Wednesday, and grade essay first drafts by Wednesday.
So, the equation is: literary journal + two grad-level literature classes + teaching English 101 = fangirl who has lost her mind.
But you guys get to benefit from my stress-induced used bookstore brain fart. I accidentally picked up an extra copy of a book I already own, and I’m giving it away!
You can snag extra entries by pimping out the giveaway either on your blog or by retweeting on Twitter. Just comment here and link me to your pimping post or status update. Please post separate comments for each entry.
The winner will also get an official Linnea Sinclair canvas tote, courtesy of the author herself! Man, I wish I could enter! ;)
Note: This book is gently used. The cover is slightly dinged up, but the spine and pages are perfect.
Contest rules: Anyone can enter. I will mail the book overseas. The contest will run through Friday, February 27th at 5:00 p.m. Central Time. The winner will be announced and emailed on Friday evening, and has until 10:00 p.m. Central on Sunday, March 1st to respond. If the winner does not respond by that time, another winner will be chosen. You must include a valid email address with your entry comments so I can contact you.
Good luck, and happy pimping!

The Discriminating Fangirl, who is more likely to answer to Pamela if you shout it at her, is the proud owner of an MA in English, focusing on children's/young adult literature and popular culture. She's now not using that degree to work as a project manager for a mobile app company. She reads voraciously, loves geeky movies and tv shows, reads comic books as long as she's not pissed off at Marvel, and when she's procrastinating, she enjoys playing video games. She can be contacted at t.d.fangirl @ gmail.com and followed on Twitter @tdfangirl.
