Dorian Gray movie poster & trailer

Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray is a fabulous book, and I’m very pleased to see that a new movie is coming out.

I’m even more pleased to see that it stars Ben Barnes and Colin Firth. Oh, be still my heart!

Here’s the poster:

And the trailer:

It looks lovely, in a dark, almost Burtonesque sort of way. But I have to admit, I’m a bit worried by Dorian’s apparent heterosexuality. I’m sure dear old Oscar would be a bit miffed, too. And I’ve got to admit, I was kind of hoping for a little something between Ben and Colin. ;)

Looks awesome, and reminds me that I need to re-read that book!

  • Yeah, I need to re-read, too! It’s been ages since I read it. I’ll have to play “find the homosexuality” and then compare it to whatever’s in the movie. ;)

  • Hi Pamela!

I’ve just spotted your poste – thank you very much for reading our site! I can’t wait to see Dorian Gray, and we’re due for a press screening in a week so keep an eye out for a review!

Fantastic site by the way, keep up the hard work!

    Much Love,

  • Thanks, Craig, and I’ll definitely keep my eyes peeled for any new Dorian posts!

Dorian: “Women should only be given things they can wear in the evening” :)
