Avatar teaser available!

FYI, dear readers. An actual teaser for James Cameron’s upcoming 3D science fiction film, Avatar is now available at Apple Trailers!

I’m still waiting on the HD trailer to load, and I’ve got to admit that I don’t know nearly enough about this project. I’ve read the synopsis, and I know it’s going to be in 3D (which means I’ll almost certainly come out of the theatre with a nauseating headache).

Watch the teaser here!

What do you think of it?

The Discriminating Fangirl, who is more likely to answer to Pamela if you shout it at her, is the proud owner of an MA in English, focusing on children's/young adult literature and popular culture. Because of her ample free time thanks to being gainfully unemployed, she reads voraciously. She also loves geeky movies and tv shows, reads comic books as often as she can buy them, and when she's procrastinating, she enjoys playing video games. She can be contacted at t.d.fangirl @ gmail.com and followed on Twitter at the link below.

  • Having seen the trailer, I must say, Cameron seems awfully cocky about it. It’s nice-*looking*, sure, but the story was nothing more than decent when it was called “Ferngully: The Last Rainforest.”

  • Ha! I have absolutely no idea about the story, other than the very basic “paralyzed guy becomes human/alien hybrid” thing, but yeah, it is very pretty.
